BITalino is a set of devices that allows any student or professional developer to create projects and applications with physiological sensors.
There are currently 3 formats of BITalino : Board, Freestyle and Plugged.
All formats have 9 or removable modular "blocks" that can be used individually, within which there are: sensors electrocardiogram (ECG), electromyography (EMG), electrodermal activity (EDA), accelerometer, LED and sensor light.
In BITalino board all the pieces are assembled together and if both the control module, food, communication and sensors.
This product can be used with any programming API, such as Python, Java, Android among others.
The main product is a driver ATMega328 microcontroller that can be configured with a sampling rate of up to 1000Hz and is able to support six analog inputs (four 10-bit two 6-bit), four digital inputs and four digital outputs.
The imagination is the limit; each block is individual but can be combined to create prototypes with the features you want. You can connect other sensors, including your own custom electronic designs.
