The new ArduPilot Flight control system includes numerous improvements in its design and compatibility with this board you can build a drone completely to your specifications.
This Ardupilot version includes an internal gyroscope and a 3 axis accelerometer (MPU-6000) a magnetometer (compass) and a high quality barometer. It also includes a connector for an external GPS module (included) so you can build an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The compass was previously included in the ArduPilot board but now it is included as a component of the GPS module to avoid electromagnetic interference derived from being close to motors and the power supply.
It includes an auto pilot mode that controls the stabilization and the navigation eliminating the need of an external stabilization device. It also supports “Fly by wire” that can stabilize the airship when it is flown manually with an RC controller making your flight experience more easy and safe.
The auto pilot software must be downloaded and loaded in the card by the user and can be programmed in the Arduino IDE.
This product also includes a 915MHZ radio telemetry system (emitter and receptor), an RC150 power module, GPS module and power cables.
The ArduPilot module has UART1, UART2, I2C and OSD outputs.
